Fageda d'en Jorda (Jorda's Beech) and Volcanos Route
Descrition Route 
It is a mixed cooperative of sociolaboral integration of disabled people. Besides of having a dairy farm with 400 cows, it also has a breeding ground of native plants that helps on the reforestation.
When we leave the beech, which we will take about 30 minutes in crossing it, we will arrive to a road, and we will follow it by right hand towards to Saintt Miquel de Sacot and the Volcano of Santa Margarida.
Sant Miquel de Sacot 
On this section of the route the way joins with the GR-2 route.
Until now the footpath is quite level, but after leaving the factory, the way gets narrows and begins a slight ascent towards Can Batlle and Saint Miquel de Sacot. The church of Saint Miquel de Sacot is of neoclassic style with a plant of Romanesque style of XI century. It was reconstructed and extended in century XVIII.
From here we go to a flat area called Sacot and by the Collet de Bassols we will
be at the southwestern flank of the Volcano of Santa Margarida. We will leave back the GR-2 route that goes towards Santa Pau and will continue until the volcano.
Volcà Santa Margarida 
This is a mixed volcano, which had strombolian and freatomagma eruptive phases.
Volcano of Santa Margarida 
The lasts ones are explosive, and openend up a wide circular crater on exploding. With the exception of the crater, that today is a meadow, the rest
of the volcano is covered of forests of oaks on the suny side and mixed decidous trees on the shady side.
In the middle of the crater there is a hermitage that gives name to the volcano. According to it seems, in the antiquity existed in the zone the belief that the demon lived within volcanos and raising a temple in its inner was considered a manner of exorcism.
Volcano of Santa Margarida 
We will follow the route by the footpath we will find at the edge of the crater, the way will begin to slope down until we arrive to Santa Margarida Area, with the only fountain of all the way.
Here ours route connects with the Itinerary 4(Can Xel-Saint Pau), crosses the road GI-524 and concurs with Itinerary 15 (Gredales of the Croscat) until the deviation of Can Passavent, where is another point of information of the park, located at the foot of the Volcano of the Croscat.
