Monistrol de Montserrat (Km. 0)
Once we reach the village Monistrol de Montserrat we will go to the square of the City Hall, it is the point where we start this route.
We will see a small sign on a pole near the road marking the route Itinerary IP6,
that one is the rotue we will do.
We will cross the square and go through a slight slope to reach the road that goes up to Montserrat.
Rather than going up, we will go down a few meters and cross the road, with caution as there is poor visibility due to bends.
We will see a paved road with a mark just at our left and we start moving to it, the paths becomes into a narrow path with stones and dust, we are following the path GR 5/96. It is not a nice way, without vegetation, but as we go sloping up we could see different charming views of the mountain of Montserrat, as well as
views of the valley and the river Llobregat
on a clear and less polluted day.
Drecera 3/4 (Shorcut 3/4) (Km 1.2)
After few minutes walking we will see a sign post that leads to the path named Drecera 3/4 (Shortcut 3/4) that deviates from the path GR 5 that we followed, we will take this shortcut that goes up towards the mountain (although if we followed the GR 5 one we will reach the same place). The path is somewhat more difficult, increasing the unevenness, we will have to go up with some stone steps. As we began walking up the mountain, we will find some vegetation, we will find mostly evergreeen oaks and madrones.

Waw pardal impresiona molt aquesta ruta... el que no m'ha quedat clar es si es només per escaladors o per tots els públics... es comença des de el monestir de montserrat?
