Solana of Cregueña Route
Description Route
In this section the climb becomes a bit more abrupt we will have to overcome a small stretch of rocks.
In some places we can stop and rest on the rocks along the river and admire its bed.
Solana Cregueña
We have reached a great plain which runs at the Valley of Cregueña, our final destination.
If we have the river on our right we will see the Peaks of Cregueña (2986m), Peak of Quillón (2953m) and Peak Estates (2945m) (viewed from left to right).
At our left we see Peak of Acampamen (2630m), Peak of Alba (3107m) and Peak Sayo (3211m).
In the background we can see the mountain
Solana Cregueña
separates us from the Ibon of Cregueña on the other side and just in front of the
Maladeta Peak (3308m) wich is located in the massif that has its name, which contains the Aneto (3404), although we can not appreciate from the Solana.
Whoever wants to can follow the path that leads to the Ibon and climbs the mountain to help us overcome the rocks that are on the way or maybe we can think its a good time to eat something and take a refreshing dip in the cold river Cregueña before returning.
