Solana
Description Route
Route of medium - high difficulty because of the strong gradient throughout its length. Not require any special technique but at some stage have to make small grimpe without difficulty for traversing a stretch of rocks.
Once we left the car we will continue down the path until we reach a small fountain, the Fountain of the Banys.
Soon we will see at our right a
Valley of Benàs
forest hut beneath of Peak Dalliu (or Peak d'These) of 2531m and a little later the Bridge Banys that will allow us to cross the river Esera, from here we can contemplate the mountains of Aigüespases at our right with Peak of Literola of 2711m.
We will continue along the road,
traveling thorugh Valley of Benás, it is noteworthy that in this valley there are many paths and roads that run through and you can do it on bicicle, and going along the river, makes the journey more idyllic.
We will cross the river Esera by the bridge of Acampamen and a bit farther we will see Bridge of Cregueña.
We will see an informative post at the beginning of the bridge that indicates that we are
Solana Cregueña
in the Natural Park of Posets - Maladeta and the mountain trail just behind it leads us towards Lake of Cregueña about three hours and a half away.
Our route leads to the Solana of Cregueña, just before starting the ascent
to the Lake (Ibon as its called here).
The beginning of the route gives us information about the gap we have to overcome, because it begins strongly. All the way to the Solana is like this gap in some sections but is even more pronounced in others. There are places where it is softened and became flat but only for a few steps. The only flat area is our ultimate goal, the Solana of Cregueña.
Although this is a path with a sharp drop, that does not have to discourage us because the scenery is very pretty. Almost the entire route runs through the trees, highlighting the fir, black pine and ash among others.

Furthermore, as the road goes parallels the river Cregueña we can admire the impressive waterfalls at various stages the tour.
