the path that comes from Portillon of Benasque.
We will continue this time following signposts green and light green to get ti Refuge of Plan d'Estan next to the road.
Parking Besurta (Km. 5)
Cross the road and follow the path, we will have to climb the small Turonet Plan d'Estan. When we have passed it we will be in the parking of The Besurta, starting point for those who come by bus.
Follow the green and light green trail, looking at our right we will see part of the Maladeta Glacier, the largest and best preserved of the Pyrenees, hosting a total of 5 glaciers. Natural Monuments Pyrenean Glaciers form ice over southern
Europe.
They, along with other molders led to the major forms of relief from the Pyrenees in the Pleistocene. They have a great scientific, environmental, landscape interest and therefore were protected by law in 1990 by the Spanish parliament of Aragon.
We will see a sign that informs us that the Forau of Aiguallut is only about 40 minutes. We will continue along the road, which amounts to slightly exceed the Turó Pleta of Renclusa.
Once again, we admire the great prairies, if we're lucky we might see marmots tuned frightened by the shrieks of eagles.
Forau de Aiguallut (Km.7)
Forau de Aiguallut is an underground cave
produced by the erosion of water whose roof has collapsed. The water emerges at the Vall d'Aran, and flows into the Atlantic.
